Lir began her interest in music at an early age. When she was 4 years old, attending a family wedding, she was fascinated with the saxophone player and refused to go home. In 2010 Lir joined the IDF for her mandatory 2 year service serving as part of the official army band where she contributed vocals, guitar and keyboard parts. During her service, she performed for various army and state officials, and had her original song featured on Israel’s most popular radio station, ‘Galgalaz’. In 2012 Lir had digitally released an EP titled ‘Director’s Cut’. Later this year, she moved to the UK to pursue her art. She played in many venues such as ‘O2 Academy Islington’, ‘The Water Rats’, ‘Brixton Jamm’ and various radio stations across the UK.
Alongside her partner, Sir. O, she co-founded GoPro Sessions, which was praised by Go Pro, band A-ha, and was also featured on the American magazine ‘Acoustic Guitar’.
